Mentoring and grant Scheme

 

 

This strand of the project helps rural toursim businesses raise their quality standards, providing individual benefits for the businesses and contributing to an improved collective tourism offer in th borough. 

• The work will focus on businesses looking to tap in to new opportunities presented by the World Heritage Site.

 

The scheme offers small targeted investment, enabling businesses and social enterprise community groups to develop the quality of their offer / product and implement some of the recommendations raised during the mentoring and facilitation phase of strand one.

 

Businesses / groups are required to provide match funding in full, with grants available at a maximum of £5,000. For example, if a business applies for the maximum grant of £5,000, it will be expected to contribute the same amount to the project, which will cost £10,000 in total. Match-funding must take the form of revenue funding.
